Seattle Doris Reading?
I think I'm going to be in Seattle on March 9. I don't know if I have any dorisy people in that sweet city, and I've never been there before. but if anyone is out there, and thinks I should try and do a reading somewhere, tell me! where?
i am a huge doris fan. i keep meaning to send you some of my zines. anyway, i would suggest zapp (the zine archive and publishing project), but they just shut down. i don't actually live in the city, but maybe left bank books would be a good start leftbank@leftbankbooks.com. if you'd like i can do a little checking around. seattle is a pretty zine/diy friendly community. let me know if you'd like me to look into it further.

i have been publishing zines for years. my zine the edgy-catin' mama won a spot in the zine yearbook a few years back. i would love to read. i can send you some zines if you'd like to see some of my stuff or i can link you to the winning essay from the zine yearbook. it is up on girl-mom. i also publish the true adventures of the feminist snails and listen to granny. i can't wait to see you!!! i am a big fan. i was late to finding doris, but discovered the book and was hooked. xo n ps let me know if you need any help with anything.

hi Nina!
I think I'm going to try and do it at Left Bank, and I would love it if other people read too, so if you know anyone...
thanks!
